21.05.03 Results SBMC 2021 Qualifications
We saw some amazing, yet controlled performances at the qualifications in Nordalsadeln on Monday. The Freeride world tour skiers demonstrated their master skills with high speed and perfect technique. The next generation of freeriders, represented by Max Palm, Nisse Wersén and others, delivered fantastic runs with unpredictable rotations and full control.
Caroline Strömberg, who’s been close to victory at the SBMC many times, is in the lead, but with close margin to Ronja Stenhös and Sofie Gidlund.
Snowboarder August Coster is in the lead after his first ever start in the SBMC, ahead of Adam Falk. Louise Albinsson stood out among among the women snowboarers.

Covid-19 information for the 2021 SBMC, May 3-5.
To avoid spread of Covid-19, the SBMC will follow the recommendations issued by the Swedish public health agency. In addition the SBMC will connect to the pandemic guidelines for FWQ competitions:
- NO PUBLIC INDOOR ARRANGEMENTS. Riders meeting, award ceremony etc will be live broadcasted on the web.
- HYGIENE. (hand-washing, cleaning/disinfection, Face mask whenever necessary)
- PHYSICAL DISTANCING (Physical distance, flow of people, acess restrictions, crowd management)
- RESPONSIBILITY (information, reporting, behaviour, contact person)
In accordance with regulations from the Swedish authorities, max eight (8) persons will be in the starting- and finishing area respectively at the same time. There will be no areas for audience.
