183 riders from 12 countries gave their all today in difficult conditions at the north face of Nordalsfjäll at the SBMC qualifications. The champions will be decided after finals on May 9-10.
Most talked about run of the day came from Piper Kunst from Breckenridge, USA, with a full charge triple jump never seen before in Riksgränsen. Kunst is in the lead in women ski just ahead of the freeride world tour champion Justine Dufour-Lapointe from Canada.
In women snowboard, the winner of the qualification is Claudia Bings from Germany with Astrid Karolina Paulsson in second place.
The 2019 champion Max Palm is in the lead ahead of Nils Wersén in men ski. In the men’s snowboard category Joosef Kuoppala from Finland is tied at first place with Melker Tillhagen.
